Job summary

SimVentions is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design rugged, high‑performance electronics for defense applications, with emphasis on PCB layout and RF/antenna design. The role spans concept through production, including prototype, test, and sustainment activities, in a collaborative, owner‑driven environment.

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required; US citizenship is necessary for clearance eligibility. Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field is required (Master’s preferred).

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Strong grounding in analog/digital circuit design and embedded systems.
• Experience with PCB layout and RF/circuit design is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research, development, test, and integration of embedded systems and communications capabilities.
• Develops electrical circuits, RF receivers, and compact antenna designs with limited oversight.
• Performs schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit analysis; documents design solutions.
• Supports integration and testing to ensure reliable functionality and performance.
• Leads design reviews and coordinates with mechanical engineering for packaging.
