Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in mechanical design within power, energy, industrial, or ruggedized electronic systems.
• Proven experience designing outdoor or environmentally sealed enclosures.
• Strong knowledge of thermal management, gasketing, coatings, and corrosion mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop rugged outdoor enclosures for power and energy systems.
• Engineer solutions for thermal management, sealing, and environmental protection.
• Perform structural analysis, tolerance stack-ups, and material selection.
• Design for corrosion resistance and long-term outdoor field deployment.
• Support prototype builds, environmental testing, and product validation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry and environmental standards.
• Drive DFM/DFA principles to support scalable production.
