Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Rubber Process Engineer to join the Mold Technology Center at our Easton, PA headquarters. You will design, test, and optimize rubber molds, presses, and molding processes, ensuring our global manufacturing network runs efficiently while collaborating with product development engineers to troubleshoot issues and reduce scrap.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in rubber molding processes.
• Experience optimizing rubber manufacturing processes.
• Good project management skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Willingness to travel 3–4 times a year for training and visits to Victaulic molding facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and inspect rubber molds and press equipment to verify product characteristics.
• Drive process optimization across rubber processing operations.
• Investigate and implement new rubber molding processes and technology.
• Prepare specifications for process and manufacturing equipment.
• Write and update routing and processing procedures.
• Partner with product development engineers to improve product design and processes.
• Troubleshoot rubber processes to increase productivity and decrease scrap.
• Lead safety training for Mold Technology Center personnel.
