Job summary
Victaulic, at its Global Headquarters in Easton, PA, seeks a Project Engineer- Materials Technology to advance rubber/elastomer formulations and related polymer technologies. You will help take concepts from development through commercialization with cross-functional teams.
The role requires hands-on formulation experience, strong analytical skills, and collaboration with engineering and supplier partners. Travel up to 25% is expected, and relocation assistance is available.
Qualifications
- BS in Chemical, Materials or Polymer Engineering is required.
- MS in a related field is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with rubber/elastomer compound formulation.
- Experience with polymer test methods and molding processes is essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and commercialize products that leverage advanced materials (rubber/elastomer, plastics, composites).
- Lead formulation and compounding of rubber/elastomer materials.
- Evaluate curing systems, fillers, and additives.
- Support tooling, pilot runs, and supplier selection.
- Lead design reviews and ensure customer and performance requirements.
- Perform instrumental characterization and analytical testing.
- Travel up to 25% globally.
