Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Akron is hiring a Rubber Press Operator for Rootstown, Ohio. This hands-on role operates molding machinery to produce high-quality rubber products. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour. Shifts available: 1st shift (5am–3pm, Mon–Thu with OT on Fridays) and 2nd shift (3pm–1am, Mon–Thu with OT on Fridays).

Qualifications

• Identify defects and maintain product consistency.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 25–50 lbs.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organizational and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Load raw rubber materials into molding presses
• Operate machinery according to production schedules and work orders
• Monitor temperature, pressure, and cycle times during molding process
• Visually inspect finished products for defects and report issues
• Safely load/unload materials and finished goods using manual tools
• Perform other related duties as assigned

About the Role:

Starting Pay: $16.00/hour Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 5am-3pm Mon-Thurs OT on Friday occasionally available

• 2nd Shift: 3pm-1am Mon-Thurs OT on Friday occasionally available
