Job summary

UTEX Industries is seeking a Rubber Machine Operator to safely run mills, extruders, calenders, barwells, and related equipment to produce quality rubber products.

You will input production data into the MRP system, perform quality checks, maintain a safe, clean work environment, and assist with preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1+ years of manufacturing experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to use measuring tools and basic computer programs
• Basic math, computer, and communication skills
• Comfortable with physical tasks like bending, climbing, and kneeling
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment including mills, extruders, calenders, barwells, and friction tower
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Accurately input production data into the MRP system
• Perform product quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications
• Use measuring and inspection tools
• Support preventative maintenance and housekeeping standards
• Follow all PPE, health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Work closely with supervisors and other team members to meet production goals
• Support internal and external audits
• Operate forklifts (certification required or provided)

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
