Responsibilities

• Mixer Operator: Operate mixer to produce batches of rubber compound to specification.
• Load raw materials and monitor equipment, temperatures, and cycle times.
• Use material handling equipment to move and prepare materials.
• Perform cleanout on machinery.
• Mill Operator: Operate mill and festooner to transfer rubber compound to skids for usage to produce rubber hose.
• Set mill and cutter to proper thickness and width.
• Prepare slab dip to proper consistency.
• Perform cleanout on machinery.
• Compounder: Prepare compound materials needed to supply the mixer.
• Order raw materials, weigh, cut, and mix ingredients into containers for mixer operator use.
• Use forklift to move and prepare materials.
• Functions Associated with all functions: Collect samples for testing; Perform quality checks; Maintain professionalism with associates and customers; Work safely and report unsafe conditions.
