RUBBER AND PLASTICS FABRICATOR - $24.85 - $45.79 PER HOUR

• Manufactures and repairs rubber components; installs and repairs fiberglass materials; and encapsulates electrical plugs and connectors.
• Produces rubber and plastic protective covers for submarine main shafts using presses, injection molding equipment, curing ovens, grinders, and hand and power tools.
• Designs and builds wood and foam molds for fiberglass parts. Applies fiberglass cloth, woven roving, or mat with epoxy or polyester resins and hardeners to create durable composite components.
• Fabricates custom acrylic enclosures and boxes by measuring, cutting, fitting, and bonding acrylic panels with specialized adhesives; uses hand and power tools to produce durable, finished assemblies.
