Job summary

Red Thread PR in Philadelphia seeks a Senior Account Executive to support 4-6 client relationships, executing PR tactics and reporting for global, national, and regional brands. The SAE will help implement strategic plans, manage communications, and contribute to crisis management.

This role requires collaboration within the PR department and across Brownstein's sister agencies, strong attention to detail, and the ability to generate media outreach and compelling thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree with concentration in PR, Journalism, Communication or English
• Strong writing samples
• Experience with traditional and non-traditional PR tactics

Responsibilities

• Support 4-6 diverse clients at a time, executing public relations tactics, building client relationships, as well as reporting and measurement.
• Support clients in insurance, financial service, QSR industries
• Executing against clients' plans and supporting account teams in exceeding clients' goals
• Maintaining client relationships and ensuring that intended outcomes are met
• Reporting and measurement of media coverage
• Collaborating extensively within Red Thread PR and across Brownstein's sister agencies
• Successfully securing editorial coverage; proactive media outreach everyday is required! Must be passionate about media relations; must be hungry for headlines!
• Execute well-written thought leadership materials
• Think creatively and strategically; identify issues and problem solve proactively
• Manage a variety of tactics within an integrated communications platform
• Understand complex subject matter across a variety of industries
• Write for a wide variety of audiences
• Monitor the media and produce reporting materials
• Providing a well-articulated point of view on industry trends, news makers and communication strategy.
• Maintaining internal documents and status as they relate to all facets of a project so locating is easy and intuitive for all team members
• Taking detailed and organized notes and providing meeting recaps
• Keeping a pulse on relevant industry and client news
• Receiving feedback with positive attitude and adopting it across all accounts
• Required to be in office at 215 S. Broad Street every Tuesday; remote all other days
• Required to be at select client events and meetings in Philadelphia region, as appropriate

Red Thread PR is looking for an Senior Account Executive! This position is responsible for 4-6 client relationships and theexecution of public relations tactics all while ensuring that intended outcomesare met. In this role, you would beresponsible for executing strategic plans and messaging for several clients(including global, national and regional brands) and intervention for problemsolving and crisis management. Itrequires collaborative work within both the PR department and agency at-large,strategic thinking and proven executional experience with paid, owned andearned media tactics.
