Job summary

Arevon is seeking a RTO Policy Manager to lead policy development, engage with CAISO/ERCOT stakeholder processes, and coordinate with interconnection and origination teams. The role reports to the VP of Government Affairs and Marketing and supports a national portfolio of renewable projects.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in electric policy, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive policy discussions across dispersed internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in electric industry, preferably on RTO policy.
• Knowledge of CAISO and/or ERCOT stakeholder processes and interconnection policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with dispersed teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Public Policy, Energy Policy, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-person and virtual RTO meetings (CAISO, ERCOT).
• Participate in national and regional trade associations on RTO policies.
• Summarize meetings and provide reasoning on issues relevant to Arevon’s portfolio.
• Translate complex topics for diverse audiences via reports and presentations.
• Identify policy needs and assess impacts of potential RTO policy changes.
