Job summary

Iron Senergy in Waynesburg, PA is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to operate, inspect, and service the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) system. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and first-response repairs while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

You will work with maintenance, engineering, and operations staff to maximize uptime, document conditions, and participate in continuous improvement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical school or associate degree preferred.
2–5 years of industrial maintenance or equipment operation experience.
Experience with RTOs, boilers, combustion systems or pollution control equipment preferred.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics and manuals.
Basic computer skills including CMMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Operate, inspect, and maintain the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) system.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and first-response repairs.
Monitor temperatures, pressures, emissions, and process alarms.
Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and operations to maximize uptime.
Maintain maintenance records, inspection logs, and reports.
Follow safety procedures including LOTO and hot work.
