Job summary

A-Gas Americas is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Operator in Texas. This role handles outbound shipments, uses Cyltrak to verify details, and maintains inventory with a focus on safety.

The position requires a forklift operator, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow written instructions. Typical shift is 1st shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a note that summer hours may start at 5 AM.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in shipping/receiving or working with LTL carriers is strongly preferred.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pass 608 Universal Certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all cylinders for outgoing shipment and prepare the BOL (bill of lading).
• Maintain adequate supply of materials by tracking inventory and communicating with lead/supervisor.
• Collaborate with logistics, customer service, third-party carriers, and others involved in shipment.
• Use Cyltrak to identify outgoing shipments, verify information, and update shipment status.
• Work in accordance with company health and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in accordance with all company policies relating to health & safety

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

• Must be able to safely operate a forklift
