Job summary

Acuren is seeking qualified RT Level II Technicians to support Lima, OH area. Full-time role, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Relocation assistance and up to $5,000 sign-on bonus plus 30 days per diem for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating NDT equipment, performing tests, interpreting results, reporting findings, and potentially instructing others. Must pass hair follicle testing; Level II RT certification required.

Qualifications

• Certified Level II RT required.
• Level II MT, PT, UTT, VT assets welcomed.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results.
• Hair follicle drug test required (90–120 days).

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment.
• Test quality and detect defects with NDT methods.
• Develop examination techniques per standards and safety.
• Apply criteria from specs and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRTs or digital readouts.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• Instruct and supervise others when needed.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by management.

Position Summary

Acuren is currently looking for qualified RT Level II Technicians to support our customers in Lima, OH area.

This is a fulltime embedded role with guaranteed 40 hours/week. (M-F 7 AM TO 3:30 PM)

Relocation assistance and up to $5000.00 Sign-On Bonus, along with 30 days per diem available to qualified candidates!

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Certified Level II RT
• Level II MT, PT, UTT, and VT would be considered an asset
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
• Per client requirements you must pass a hair follicle going back 90-120 days, along with periodic random testing.
