Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• Valid Illinois state respiratory care practitioner license.
• Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to residents with ventilators, tracheostomies, and complex needs.
• Perform suctioning, ventilator checks, tracheostomy care, and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor respiratory status and document findings in the medical record.
• Respond to emergencies with immediate respiratory support.
