Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for the medical team, performing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in state.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ACLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care as ordered by physicians.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
