Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy according to physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for the care team.

Mercy offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid in four installments, plus a 36-hour weekly schedule and comprehensive benefits as part of a supportive, collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; PALS if ER.
• Physically capable of required tasks including lifting and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
