Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) PRN to provide essential diagnostic and therapeutic care across emergency, critical care, and acute settings.

You will work with advanced respiratory technology, collaborate with clinicians, and support patient and family education while maintaining equipment and ensuring infection-prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or certificate program in Respiratory
• RRT NBRC & State Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and perform focused exams
• Deliver evidence-based respiratory therapy and airway management
• Manage ventilation and airway interventions across care settings
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with care team
• Maintain equipment and follow infection prevention standards
