Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Care

Required Qualifications

• Professional competency in the science of Respiratory Care, commensurate with the NBRC credential.
• Associate’s or 2‑year degree in Respiratory Care.
• Graduate of an AMA‑approved School of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed by the State Board of Medicine or State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care (if not already registered, must obtain registration within two years of hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS and/or NALS certification.
• Prior experience in a respiratory care setting.
