Baptist Health's Respiratory Care department in Kansas is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to work the night shift (1830–0700). You will assess, treat, and test patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction per physician orders and protocols, while documenting responses and outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program and 0–2 years of experience or more. Licensure as an RRT and KR/LRCP where applicable, with BLS; PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the applicable state.
• Experience levels range 0–2 years or greater as a respiratory therapist.

Summary

The Respiratory Care Practitioner must consistently meet or exceed customer expectations by assessing, treating, and/or testing patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction per physician orders and protocols. They must document patient responses to such and integrate clinical expertise to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes.

Other Information

• EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years of experience or greater as a respiratory therapist
• CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP), and Basic Life Support Provider (BLS). Prefer PALS & NRP. ACLS may be required depending on the assigned department.

This job will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
