Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to assess, treat, and test patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction under physician orders and protocols.

The role emphasizes documenting patient responses and integrating clinical expertise to improve quality of care and patient outcomes within Arkansas’ leading healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• A.S. degree preferred.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), Arkansas LRCP license.
• BLS required; PALS and/or NRP preferred; ACLS may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and test patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction per physician orders and protocols.
• Document patient responses and integrate clinical expertise to improve outcomes.
• Follow established protocols and ensure patient safety during care delivery.

The Respiratory Care Practitioner consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations by assessing, treating, and/or testing patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction per physician orders and protocols. They document patient responses and integrate clinical expertise to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes.

Other information:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program. A.S. degree preferred
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP)
• Basic Life Support Provider (BLS). Prefer PALS and NRP. ACLS may be required depending on assigned department.

This job will be authorized72.00 hours bi-weekly.
