Riverview Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, in Gadsden, Alabama, seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II for night shifts. The role focuses on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of patient care with clinical excellence and leadership responsibilities as needed.

The hospital offers a full range of services and has the region's only accredited Cath Lab in Northeast Alabama. A BS degree is preferred and NBRC/RCP licensure is required for employment.

Formación

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from NBRC or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintain current.
• Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintain current.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from AHA upon hire and maintain current or within 60 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate upon hire and maintain current or within 60 days of hire.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Lead RCP responsibility during shift when assigned.
