Job summary

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) Laboratory in Flushing, NY. The role focuses on diagnostic pulmonary testing, including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, ABG samples when required.

Candidates must hold NBRC RRT, NY license, BLS, and have hospital-based experience. The shift is 7.5 hours daily, Monday through Friday, with pay ranges of $60–$64 per hour for locals.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC RRT credential.
• Current NY State Respiratory Therapist license.
• BLS/BCLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital-based respiratory therapy experience.
• Strong knowledge of pulmonary function testing and ABG interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced PFTs and ABG sampling.
• Interpret ABG results and pulmonary data.
• Operate and maintain PFT equipment.
• Provide patient and staff education as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
