Community Health Systems in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Respiratory Therapist - RRT to perform diagnostic pulmonary function testing, administer respiratory therapies, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality patient care. The role requires an RRT credential, 1–3 years of acute care experience, and certification in PFT.

BCLS, ACLS, and PALS are required within specified timeframes; NICU candidates may need NRP/STABLE.

Qualifications

• RRT credential required
• PFT experience highly preferred
• ABG puncture proficiency expected
• CPFT/RPFT credentials preferred
• BCLS within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS required
• NRP and STABLE preferred for NICU

Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function testing including spirometry and DLCO
• Provide testing instructions and coaching to patients
• Administer respiratory treatments and monitor responses
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures as assigned
• Document treatments and patient responses clearly and accurately
• Ensure PPE and infection control compliance
• Manage ventilator settings and airway maintenance
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with healthcare teams
