CHS Career Site is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a PRN night shift assignment in an acute care setting. The role involves administering treatments, conducting assessments, and documenting patient responses under physician orders.

You will perform ABG punctures, assist with bedside procedures, operate ventilators, and ensure equipment safety while following infection control standards. A comprehensive certification portfolio is required and attendance is reliable.

Formación

• 1-3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting preferred

Responsabilidades

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments, assesses patients and monitors responses.
• Orients patient to treatment modality prior to procedure to facilitate cooperation.
• Performs and documents ABG punctures accurately and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Performs pulmonary testing procedures as assigned.
• Follows respiratory protocols and safety/regulatory standards.
• Communicates with healthcare teams and leadership for timely updates on patient care.
• Maintains respiratory equipment and ensures proper functioning and cleanliness.
• Implements physician orders accurately and documents treatments clearly.
• Ensures PPE usage and infection control compliance.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance.
• Demonstrates appropriate interventions in emergencies and collaborates with teams.
• Applies age-specific oxygen therapy considerations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies.
