Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• RRT certification is required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• NRP and STABLE certifications required if NICU is involved.

Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Performs arterial blood gas punctures and documents results.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures and pulmonary testing when assigned.
• Maintains equipment, follows PPE and infection control guidelines, and documents treatments.
