The role requires collaboration with healthcare teams, adherence to respiratory protocols, and reliable attendance for night-shift coverage (1830-0700). ACLS/PALS required; NICU duties depend on department needs.

Qualifikationen

• 1-3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting preferred
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation if NICU Department
• STABLE - Neonatal Certification if NICU Department

Aufgaben

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Orients patients to treatment modalities prior to procedures.
• Performs ABG punctures accurately and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Performs pulmonary testing procedures as assigned.
• Follows respiratory protocols and safety guidelines.
• Communicates with healthcare teams and leadership about patient care.
