Lee Health's Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a 699-bed acute care hospital with trauma and stroke capabilities. You will deliver respiratory care across all ages, manage ventilators, perform ABG analysis, and provide oxygen and airway support in a high-acuity setting.

Requirements include an NBRC RRT credential, BLS, Florida license, and an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree required for Technical Consultant duties.
• No prior experience required; new graduates accepted.
• Credentialed by NBRC as an RRT; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as appropriate.
• Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care to patients of all ages.
• Perform therapeutic, diagnostic, and mechanical respiratory procedures.
• Administer oxygen therapy and aerosolized treatments; ABG draws and analysis.
• Manage ventilator support and airway management; ensure safety and accuracy.
• Follow hospital policy and maintain competency across modalities.
