Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in respiratory critical care.
• Licensed RRT in Florida with NBRC credential (RRT-NPS or RRT-ACCS).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required; intubation/arterial line may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical activities per assigned shift and ensures shift coverage.
• Participates in staff orientation, training and competency determinations.
• Acts as a resource staff member for the shift and handles on-call coverage.
• Contributes to clinical evaluations of products and procedures and handles conflicts.
