Job summary

Concord Care of Hartford is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our care team. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field, current RRT certification, NBRC registration, and at least 1 year of RRT experience in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current RRT certification.
• Registration with NBRC.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RRT in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and pulse oximetry.
• Conduct patient assessments to identify respiratory needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and physical therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatment.
