Job summary

Concord Care of Hartford is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our care team. You will assess patients, develop and implement individualized respiratory treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, current RRT certification, NBRC registration, and at least one year of long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current RRT certification.
• NBRC registration.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RRT in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and pulse oximetry.
• Conduct patient assessments to identify respiratory needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatment.
