Job summary

Dallas County Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our patient-focused team in a rural hospital setting. This full-time role offers day shifts on a 12-hour schedule with rotating call.

You will provide respiratory care across all ages, perform assessments, manage oxygen and ventilator support, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Arkansas Respiratory Therapist license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages.
• Perform respiratory assessments and administer prescribed therapies.
• Manage oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator support.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist with airway management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional patient care.
