Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa, ID seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a part-time PRN role on the Respiratory Therapy team. The position includes ventilator management, airway care, and diagnostics, with independent clinical judgment and participation in rounds.

The role requires NBRC RRT, Idaho or Oregon licensure, and BLS on hire (ACLS/PALS may substitute). Precepting and ongoing mentorship of staff are also expected.

Qualifications

• Active Idaho or Oregon respiratory care license is required.
• NBRC RRT certification required.
• BLS certification at hire required (ACLS/PALS may substitute).
• Other SAHS certifications may be identified in the Certification Crosswalk.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and manage airway/ventilator care.
• Deliver medicated aerosols and bronchoscopy assistance as ordered.
• Lead rounds with physicians and mentor staff.
• Perform arterial line insertions and ABG sampling/interpretation.
• Complete mandatory training on time and adapt care per protocols.
