Job summary

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a Sleep Technologist to perform polysomnography and patient-centered care during 12-hour night shifts. You will monitor, score, and document sleep studies and ensure compliance with standards while mentoring new staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• 18 months of experience as a Sleep Technician.
• Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive polysomnography (PSG) testing, analysis, scoring, and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of the Medical Director (MD, DO, or PhD).
• Monitor patients during sleep studies and respond appropriately to sleep-related events.
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic sleep testing, including PAP titration, split-night studies, MSLT, and other sleep procedures.
• Prepare, educate, and support patients before, during, and after testing.
• Accurately score, document, and maintain sleep study results and patient records.
• Ensure compliance with AASM, regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Serve as a preceptor by mentoring, training, and supporting new staff members.
