Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Accredited sleep technology program or equivalent experience preferred.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare patients for sleep studies with proper electrode application.
• Monitor patients during sleep studies and manage polysomnography equipment.
• Record and document sleep data including stages and events.
• Educate patients on sleep studies and expectations.
• Ensure patient comfort and address concerns during testing.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers for diagnostic care.
• Assist with scoring sleep studies for physician review.
• Maintain and clean equipment per safety guidelines.
• Document thoroughly in patient records.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with best practices.
