Job summary

SENTA Partners is seeking a Sleep Technician to support sleep studies, prepare patients, apply electrodes, score studies, and ensure data accuracy. The role requires attention to detail, empathy, and dedication to improving patient outcomes.

The candidate will collaborate with physicians, maintain equipment, and assist with data recording and education of patients throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited sleep technology program or equivalent experience preferred.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare patients for sleep studies, ensuring proper application of electrodes and monitoring devices.
• Monitor patients during sleep studies and troubleshoot polysomnography equipment.
• Record and document sleep stages, events, and abnormalities.
• Educate patients on sleep studies and procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and address concerns during testing.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers for diagnostic care.
• Assist with scoring sleep studies for physician review.
• Maintain and clean equipment following safety and infection control guidelines.
• Complete accurate documentation in patient records.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with best practices.
