Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO seeks a Sleep Technician to perform overnight polysomnographic studies and HSATs, monitor patients, and manage equipment. The role includes documenting findings and supporting coordination of care.

It also involves providing supervision and ongoing education to PSG staff as needed. Able to address technical and interpersonal problems, with strong communication and computer skills; night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• BLS Certification or RQI for Healthcare Providers preferred.
• Current RPSGT/RST or CRT license in state of practice, if required.
• PALS, ACLS, NRP certifications may be required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnographic studies using PAP therapy interventions.
• Perform Home Sleep Apnea Tests (HSAT).
• Monitor and document patients undergoing physiologic studies.
• Monitor and track equipment and supplies; complete record keeping and charting.
• Supervise, mentor and orient PSG Tech and CPSGT (as applicable).
