Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an experienced RPO Software Developer/Analyst to develop and maintain flight dynamics tools, integrating AI/ML/RL techniques and supporting various space mission analyses.

MS degree in a related field with 0–1 year of experience is expected; strong C++ and Python skills, plus proficiency with modern software practices. Domestic travel and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• MS degree in computer science, software engineering, aerospace engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field (pursuing or conferred within last 12 months).
• 0-1 year of industry experience.
• Proficiency in C++ including software architecture, performance optimization, and algorithm development.
• Proficiency in Python including API design, module integration, and UI development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement flight dynamics tools to support customer deliverables.
• Design software architecture and integrate new workflows.
• Engage with users to refine capability requirements and use AI/ML/RL techniques as appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate mission requirements into solutions.
• Occasional travel to support customer efforts.
