Job summary

CG Roxane is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure uptime and reliability of bottling line equipment. The role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, while collaborating with operators and supervisors to maximize line efficiency.

Starting pay depends on experience. Benefits include health, dental, 401(k) and PTO. Must be able to work day or night shifts, including on-call; in-person facility environment with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in recycling, injection molding, or plastic processing.
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems using schematics and drawings.
• Repair equipment, conveyors and other line equipment as required.
• Modify, lubricate, adjust, and improve equipment efficiency.
• Work with operators, supervisor and Plant Manager to keep line running.
• Create and report repairs at end of shift; document parts and material usage.
• Follow plant safety rules including PPE usage.

Maintenance Technician

The maintenance mechanic is responsible for ensuring equipment uptime and reliability by quick in-depth troubleshooting and repair of all equipment failures in addition to performing routine maintenance. Furthermore, our maintenance mechanics constantly strive to adjust machinery so as to improve line efficiency. Mechanics work directly with machine operators, manufacturing supervisor and Plant Manager to maintain smooth operation of the line during shift.

The appropriate candidate will exhibit mechanical aptitude, a passion for learning, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Detailed Description

• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings
• Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors and other equipment at facility as required
• Modify, lubricate, adjust, and improve equipment efficiency
• Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely.
• Create and report repairs at end of shift. Complete required paperwork, document parts and material usage.
• Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation. Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where required.
• Regular and predictable attendance is necessary

• 5 + Years of in field experience
• 5 + Years of work experience
• Experience in recycling, injection molding, or other plastic process
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education

Competencies

• Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical experience
• Basic fabrication, TIG welding skills desirable
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels in organization
• Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating schedule
• Previous experience with plastics extrusion desirable

Education

• High School Diploma/GED required
• AS/AAS in Industrial Maintenance or similar program preferred
