Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions seeks an experienced RPA specialist in Reading, PA to analyze, develop, test, and support Bot solutions using Automation Anywhere. You will collaborate with IT and end-user groups to optimize performance and reliability of RPA workloads.

You will review bot scripts, monitor systems, and participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery for the RPA infrastructure, while ensuring security considerations and adherence to development standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development with 2+ years in Robotics Process Automation (RPA), including business process and system analysis.
• 2 years of project management experience is required.
• Hands-on experience with RPA tools (Automation Anywhere preferred) or other automation technologies such as UiPath, BluePrism, or Kofax.
• Experience with Document Automation and Agentic AI is a plus.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity implications of automation.
• Strong testing methodologies, test case development, and testing execution.
• Proficiency with SQL, Java/Web, Agile/Kanban, REST API development, and JIRA/Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree required; working knowledge of systems development standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, maintain and support RPA applications for IT & end user groups.
• Analyze performance of applications and troubleshoot problems.
• Be involved in coding, testing and documentation of proposed solutions.
• Support the RPA infrastructure and own the overall architecture.
• Create, modify, test, and implement bots using Automation Anywhere according to design principles.
• Review bot scripts from offshore and onsite developers.
• Monitor automations and provide general support.
• Analyze bot performance and resolve issues; recode and test fixes as needed.
• Analyze RPA solutions based on customer requirements and propose best-fit solutions.
• Perform proofs of concepts to demonstrate feasibility of automation.
• Contribute to capacity planning and disaster recovery planning for the RPA stack.
