Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Ground Control Station Technician I to support daily operations for an Air Force RPA unit at Battle Creek ANG Base, Michigan. The role involves performing organizational level maintenance on GCSs under supervision, conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and installations of electronic and IT systems per Air Force data.

The successful candidate will have DoD TS/SCI clearance, strong communication skills, ability to read schematics, and readiness for non traditional

Qualifications

• Must have DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• IAT Level II certification within 90 days of hire.
• Able to lift/carry items over 50 pounds.
• Willing to work non-traditional scheduling for 24/7/365 ops.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables.
• Knowledge of Windows and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform organizational level maintenance on GCSs per Air Force instructions.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, modify, and install electronic and IT systems.
• Document maintenance actions and discrepancies in logs and MIS.
• Use test instruments to isolate faults and develop remediation solutions.
• Coordinate with customer and maintain records for Air Force data.
