Job summary

Amentum is seeking a USMC MQ-9 CLS Technician, a qualified aircraft electronics and Ground Control Station technician. The role emphasizes troubleshooting multiple aircraft and control-station electronics, maintaining UAS electrical components, relays, batteries, and peripherals, and applying advanced technical knowledge beyond manuals.

Local candidates preferred; relocation not provided; contingent upon availability.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required.
Eligible for Top Secret with SCI.
Minimum one year of actual Aircraft Avionics and/or Ground Control Station maintenance experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Advanced knowledge of electronics maintenance and repair.
Able to lift, carry and wear gear over 50 pounds.
Must read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

Maintain UAS electrical and computer systems, relays, batteries, actuators and peripherals.
Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems beyond manuals.
Analyze circuits and signal flow using complex test instruments and equipment.
Prioritize workload to meet Daily Flight Schedule and sign off work in OOMA/NALCOMIS.
Attend shift change maintenance meetings and update aircraft logs.
