PAE Government Services Inc. seeks a Ground Control Station Technician I to support daily operations of an Air Force RPA unit at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota.

You will report to the Site Manager and interface with the customer to ensure mission readiness and reliability of radar, SATCOM, and related electronics. The role requires basic electronics knowledge, blueprints reading, Windows and MS Office skills, and the ability to obtain DoD security clearances.

Qualifikationen

• Must have high school diploma or completed relevant military/vocational curriculum.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables.
• Basic understanding of Windows OS.
• Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to obtain IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC) within 90 days.

Aufgaben

• Interfaces with customer regularly, providing excellent service and communication.
• Adheres to AFI 21-101 and related technical data in maintenance actions.
• Documents all maintenance actions using AFTO 781s, MIS, and logs.
• Applies electronics knowledge to troubleshoot using official data and changes.
• Maintains and installs electronic equipment including radar, SATCOM, navigational aids, and computers.
• Works under supervision with guidance from higher-level technicians.
