Job summary

Invictus Technical Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Ground Control Station Technician I to support the Air Force Remotely Piloted Aircraft unit in a TS clearance environment.

You will perform maintenance on GCSs, ensure compliance with Air Force data, and execute troubleshooting, testing, and installation tasks with IT components. The role requires strong communication, blueprint-reading, and Windows/MS Office proficiency, plus the ability to obtain an IAT Level II certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication required.
• Proficiency with blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables.
• Basic MS Windows knowledge.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Must obtain an IAT Level II certification within 90 days of hire (CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC).

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and maintain effective communication.
• Perform maintenance actions, inspections, modifications, troubleshooting, testing, and installations on GCSs.
• Document maintenance actions and discrepancies using aircraft logs and MIS.
• Apply Air Force Technical Data to solve problems, including locating circuitry and isolating malfunctions.
• Plan work schedules, select tools and test instruments, and comply with maintenance instructions and directives.
• Utilize test instruments to isolate malfunctions and develop concrete solutions.
• Maintain, repair, and install electronic equipment (radar, radio, SATCOM, navigational aids) and related systems.
• Apply electronic principles to diagnose malfunctions and restore operations.
• Receive supervision from higher-level technicians or supervisors.
• Fulfill all other position-related duties as assigned.
