Associated Students/SDSU is seeking a part-time Assistant Coach for the rowing program. The position supports the head coach with planning, practice design, and recruitment to grow both novice and varsity teams.

The role requires availability for morning and evening sessions, plus weekend competitions, with duties focused on safety, policy compliance, and program promotion across SDSU and Aztec Recreation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Aztec Recreation programs and policies.
• Experience coaching rowing and recruiting athletes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with planning and admin tasks.
• Design novice and varsity practice schedules and training schemes.
• Recruit and retain athletes for the rowing program.
