Job summary

The Men's Water Polo Assistant Coach at SDSU is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in supervision of all aspects of the competitive water polo program, including teaching, administration, and deck coaching. The role requires safety operations for participants and adherence to policies established by Associated Students/SDSU and CWPA.

The position averages 10–15 hours per week and requires evening and some weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Aztec Recreation programs, facilities, and policies required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in supervision of all aspects of the program.
• Enforce policies and procedures as outlined by SDSU and CWPA.
• Develop and implement practice schedules and training schemes.
• Coordinate scrimmages and competitions with CWPA and other programs.
• Assist with recruiting goals and outreach to alumni.
