Job summary

Umatilla Electric Cooperative in Hermiston, Oregon seeks a ROW Utility Crew Member to perform live-line tree trimming, inspection, maintenance, and construction work on the right-of-way, ensuring safe clearance for power lines and compliance with state, federal, RUS, and cooperative standards.

You will operate a range of tools and equipment, document inspections, coordinate with landowners, assist line crews during outages, and contribute to fire mitigation, safety training, and a dependable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years ROW experience preferred.
• Must possess valid Oregon CDL and applicable safety certifications.
• Ability to work in variable outdoor conditions and in remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clear ROW to maintain safe clearance for power lines.
• Operate hand and power tools; document findings and reports.
• Cooperate with landowners and assist line crews during outages.
• Follow safety regulations and cooperatives' fire mitigation plan.
