Job summary

West Tree Services in the United States is seeking field crew for vegetation management and ROW maintenance for utilities. You will cut logs with chainsaws, feed limbs into a chipper, and drive a medium-duty truck as part of a safety-focused team.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be able to travel, pass a background check and drug screen, and work 10-hour days with potential 16-hour shifts during storms. We offer weekly pay, holidays, benefits, and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• Must be safety-minded and able to follow safety rules.
• Requires valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Able to leave town for extended periods and occasionally work long hours.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety rules and participate in company safety program.
• Cut logs with chainsaws and feed limbs into the tree chipper.
• Load trunk and log pieces into trucks; rig and lower limbs.
