Job summary

Percheron, LLC seeks an experienced ROW agent based in AR to manage land and Right of Way acquisitions and related negotiations. The role involves field and office work, researching titles, and coordinating with landowners and project teams.

The candidate should have at least one year in ROW, strong knowledge of applicable laws, and excellent communication skills to ensure accurate due diligence and timely permit handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in the Right of Way industry.
• Strong understanding of laws, rules, regulations, and right-of-way policies.
• Knowledge of settlement instruments and contract terms.
• Familiar with land-related contracts for construction, operation, and maintenance.
• Experience with acquisition & relocation documents and notices.
• Ability to plan, organize and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Ability to complete ROW transactions with oversight.
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, negotiate, and elect to purchase short- and long-term land or ROW leases for construction.
• Identify land ownership interests and required permits, collecting details for permits.
• Oversee land-related legal issues including titles, deeds, mortgage concerns, and zoning.
• Prepare daily activity reports and special agent reports for complex negotiations.
• Conduct due diligence to ensure accuracy of land rights and address deficiencies.
• Serve as liaison with landowners on ownership, easement rights, and access issues.
• Review development plans and ROW records to identify conflicts.
• Maintain status updates with ROW agents or project managers to complete assignments.
