Job summary

The Community Builders (TCB) is hiring a Service Technician II to perform repairs across appliances, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. This role supports the property with timely service, turnover prep, and grounds maintenance, while ensuring safety and quality.

You will work five days a week in the office and may rove to other properties as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, hands-on trade experience, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school or 3 years of progressive responsibility in property management or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of building trades and safety standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies promptly.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for building systems and equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new resident move-ins.
• Maintain grounds, common spaces, and perform snow removal.
• Assist with REAC/HQS inspections and audits.
• Provide guidance to Maintenance Tech I when needed.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Trade school or 3 years of progressive responsibility in property management or hospitality
