Job summary

Bozzuto is hiring a Roving Maintenance Technician to service a portfolio of properties in Northern Virginia. You’ll resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, prepare vacant units for move-ins, and maintain the property and grounds while delivering top-notch resident service.

Eligible after 12 months: EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification paid by Bozzuto. Expect weekend/evening shifts and on-call rotation, with travel across properties.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.
• Personal transportation to get to work and respond to on-call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Show care for residents through service ticket resolution and preventive maintenance.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnovers and improvements.
• Maintain building safety and cleanliness, including grounds and snow removal.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on-call for after-hour emergencies.
• Travel between properties within Northern Virginia.
